Clear pricing, quoted before we start.

A website is a one-time build plus a monthly plan that keeps it fast, secure, and looked after. Here is what both cost, and what changes the number.

Two numbers, not a maze.

One fixed price to design and build the site, then a monthly plan to host it and keep it working. Both are quoted before anything starts.

One-time
$1,000 – $4,000

Design and build for a typical small-business website. Quoted at a fixed price before work begins — larger builds are quoted individually.

Monthly
from $179/month

Canadian hosting, security, updates, backups, monitoring, and small content changes. Prepay a year and get one month free.

All prices are in Canadian dollars, before applicable taxes.

Once your site is live.

Every site we build is on a plan — it is what keeps a website from quietly falling apart. Choose the level of involvement you want.

Care

$179/month

or $1,969 a year — one month free

Everything needed to keep your website fast, secure, and current.

  • Canadian hosting, SSL, and the Cloudflare edge network
  • WordPress core and plugin updates, tested before they go live
  • Security hardening, bot protection on your forms, and monitoring
  • Daily off-site backups, with restores tested rather than assumed
  • Uptime checks, so a problem is noticed before your customers notice
  • Small content changes — text, photo swaps, new hours or staff
  • Email support from the people who built the site
Get started

Work beyond your plan is quoted before we start, or billed at $125/hour ($105/hour on Care Plus). No surprise invoices, ever.
All prices are in Canadian dollars, before applicable taxes.

Add only what you need

  • Professional email — $25 per mailbox, $150 to set up. Your own [email protected], with the DNS records that keep it out of junk folders. Included with Care Plus.
  • Extra pages — quoted before we start, as your services grow
  • Logo and branding — quoted. We work with a graphic designer for this.
  • Moving an existing site — quoted, including the redirects that carry your search rankings over
  • Domain registration and DNS — $25 a year if you would like us to look after it, or keep managing it yourself. Either way the domain stays registered in your name.
  • Third-party subscriptions — anything your site needs from someone else (a booking tool, for example) is set up in your own account or billed at cost, never marked up
  • Copywriting — $199 a page, or quoted as a package for a whole site. We write it, you approve it.
  • Campaign landing page — $399, a standalone page built around one offer or campaign
  • Online store or booking system — quoted, because the work depends entirely on what you are selling or scheduling
  • A training session — $125/hour, walking your team through the parts you will update yourselves
  • Anything else — a fixed-price project, or $125/hour for smaller pieces of work

Real estate websites are priced separately.

A REALTOR® site includes live MLS® listings from CREA's DDF®, map search, feature sheets, and lead capture — a bigger platform than a standard business website, with its own package and pricing.

IT & cybersecurity audits

A fixed-fee review of your IT and security posture, quoted after a short scoping call. Remediation is quoted separately as its own project.

Small — up to about 10 staff, one location from $1,500
Growing — roughly 10 to 50 staff, or more than one site $3,000 – $5,000
Larger — 50 to 100 staff, or specific compliance requirements $5,000 – $8,500
Annual re-audit — the baseline already exists about half

What moves the number

  • How many pages you need — a five-page site and a twenty-page site are different jobs
  • Whether your content is ready — photos and service descriptions in hand move a project along quickly
  • Moving an existing site — carrying over content, and keeping your search rankings with proper redirects
  • Anything that connects to something else — bookings, e-commerce, a CRM, or listing data
  • Branding — using what you have, or building a look from scratch

We would rather scope this honestly than quote low and revisit it later. If what you need is smaller than what you asked for, we will say so.

Questions about cost

Why is there a monthly fee at all?

Because a website is not a thing you buy once. It needs hosting, an SSL certificate, WordPress and plugin updates, security, backups, and someone paying attention when something breaks. The plan covers all of that, so you are never handed a login and left to it.

What if I only want hosting and nothing else?

That is what Care is. It keeps the site online, current, and secure, and covers minor content updates. If you would rather not think about the site at all, Care Plus adds priority turnaround, professional email and your domain on one invoice.

Do you charge for small changes?

Minor updates — swapping text, changing a photo, new hours or staff — are part of your plan. Bigger pieces of work are quoted before we start, or billed at $125/hour, so you always know which one you are getting.

Can I pay for the year up front?

Yes, and it is worth doing: prepay a year and you get one month free. It also suits seasonal businesses that would rather settle up in their busy months.

What happens if I want to leave?

You own your domain, your content, and your data, and we hand over a complete export promptly. The site itself runs on our managed platform, so a new provider would rebuild it — the same as leaving any managed website service. All of it is in writing before we start.

Do your prices include tax?

All prices are in Canadian dollars, before applicable taxes. Anything owing is added to your invoice.

Is there a contract?

Month-to-month plans carry a three-month minimum, and after that you can cancel with reasonable notice. Annual plans run for the prepaid year. The build itself is quoted as a fixed price before any work begins, and all of it is set out in a written services agreement before we start.
